I think this was Dodge’s answer to the Impala and Galaxie, so should be a pretty comfy car with lots of horsepower potential

That’s how I see it, and I’m a huge Galaxie fan.

Seems OK. Never was a big fan of the Polara, but it is not bad. Seems like a decent price for what you are getting.

Late to the game on this post but check out my dad’s 1964 Dodge 330 (not a polara but close).
It’s an all original Police Car, he fully restored it. And by that I mean he bought it for 250 bucks. Obviously needed an obscene amount of work.

That is bad ass, I love old police cars. I saw a beautiful Polara like this one in full livery last Sunday, but couldn’t stop for SR20. So cool.

What’s real fun is he has a hidden cd player in the glove box, like a normal head unit, but hidden.
He got a CD made of basically “police dispatch” so he sets it to play at car shows and thankfully his battery is strong enough to keep up with leaving the stereo on while he wanders around.
All the lights and sirens work by the way. Really kick ass car and oddly enough a push button transmission on the left side of the dash.
